Pastels on paper, about 3 or so hours
This is sort of a tribute to "Mowgli", a Russian animation based on "The Jungle Book" by Kipling. The character designs in that animation are gorgeous and the environments' colors are amazing. I love Bagira in this cartoon, She is so powerful and feminine and her design is great. Trying to emulate the style of this animation was a lot of fun.
